The default sender ID is the identifier your messages are sent from. Different types of sender IDs are available, and the default may vary depending on the region you’re sending from or to. This article explains how to set one of your configured sender IDs as the default for your account. Once you’ve set your default sender ID, all your messages will be sent from it unless you manually change it when creating a new message. You can update your default sender ID at any time by repeating the same process.
Identifying the default sender ID
On the Numbers page, the default sender ID will be highlighted with a blue star as follows:

Navigate to Settings > Numbers > Settings

Scroll down to the SMS section and next to the Default sender ID click on the edit icon (✏️), then use the dropdown menu to select the sender ID you would like to set as the default and click Save.
